Small Businesses are the heartbeat of our neighborhoods. They bolster our local economy, create jobs for our community, serve as spaces for gathering, and create a pathway out of poverty for many families. In greater Boston, small businesses lost an estimated 74.9 percent of their revenue, nearly double the national average. If we want to build a just economic recovery plan for our city, we must engage all our stakeholders. And because I recognize the importance of a financially healthy, sustainable, and engaged small business community, I want to hear from you.
Join City Council candidate Kendra Hicks and small business owners from all across District 6 for a listening session on the impact of COVID-19 on your business and what your local government can do to support you during and after the pandemic.
